Randy Delano Wood

Mr. Randy Delano Wood, 49, passed away March 31, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Wood was born August 21, 1962 In Yadkin County to Franklin and Edna Wood. Mr. Wood was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Randy was an Inspiration to a lot of people during his Illness. He was a talented Artist; he also enjoyed drag racing and riding his Harley. Mr. Wood was a member of the Lone Hickory Faith Riders. He is survived by his wife Rhonda Wood; they shared a short, but Fairytale love. He is also survived by two special boys Samson and Sebastin; his parents Franklin and Edna Wood; sister Melody Wood; brother Tim Wood; nephew Wesley Wood; and also many special friends and extended family. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday April 1, 2012 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday April 2, 2012 at Bethel Baptist Church by Rev. Jesse Miles and Rev. David Kiser. He will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
