Judy Kathryn Wagoner Lovette

April 22, 1946 — February 29, 2012

Hamptonville Ms. Judy Kathryn Wagoner Lovette, 65, loving mother, grandmother, and friend, lost her battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. She had fought a long, tough battle and the Lord said that she had suffered long enough, and bid her to come home. Ms. Lovette was born April 22, 1946 in Surry County to Floyd and Ruth Campbell Wagoner. She graduated from Jonesville High School and later married Randy Lovette and had three children. Ms. Lovette spent her early life working at Hoots Hospital and working at restaurants with her life-long friend, Margaret. Later in life, she took care of friends and family until she was diagnosed with cancer. She was known by many and loved by all. In addition to her parents, Ms. Lovette was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Wagoner. She is survived by three children, Randall (Julana) Lovette, Jennifer Triplett, and Jackie (Barry) Childress; three grandchildren, Ashley Childress, Drew (Sonya) Lovette, and Madison Triplett; one sister, Darlene Crater; one brother, Harvey Wagoner; lots of family and hundreds of friends. Ms. Lovette will be missed by so many, but will remain in their hearts and in their memories. She always said that her children were a blessing to her, but in reality, she was a blessing to them. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Don Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Gentry Funeral Service. The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice, Vonda Lowe, Aunt Jane, Janie, and Aunt Sue for all the love, care, and support shown to Ms. Lovette during this difficult time.
