Brady Lee Oliver

Hamptonville Mr. Brady Lee Oliver, 92, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Hugh Chatham Nursing Center. Mr. Oliver was born April 1, 1920 in Yadkin County to Narve and Ethel Macemore Oliver. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where he served at deacon for over 50 years.. In addition to his parents, Mr. Oliver was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Campbell and two brothers, Monroe Oliver and Clay Oliver. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Lola Campbell Oliver; a daughter, Linda (Benny) Coram; a son, Harvey (Linda) Oliver; two grandchildren, Mark Coram and Ryan Oliver; one great grandchild, Erika (Scott) Richardson; two great-great grandchildren, Elliott and Jace Richardson; two sisters, Ruth Adams and Doris Hutchens; and two brothers, Rayford (Zola) Oliver and Clay Oliver and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00AM at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Leffler and Rev. Linwood Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. The family wishes to thank the staff of Hugh Chatham Nursing Center, Wake Forest Hematology and Oncology, and Dr. Garrison for all their love, care, and support shown to them and Mr. Oliver during this difficult time.
