James Elwood Hutchens

Hutchens Yadkinville - James Elwood Hutchens, 75, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born April 3, 1937 in Yadkin County to the late Cleve and Ida Hutchens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Marty Elwood Hutchens; five sisters; four brothers. Surviving are his wife, Reba Ann Bowman Hutchens; brothers, Ray (Lois) Hutchens, Harvey (Goldie) Hutchens; several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at Courtney Baptist Church by the Rev. Ricky Adkins and the Rev. Keith Jones. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 at Courtney Baptist Church.
