Hazel Gregory

Hazel Gray Shore Gregory, 93, passed away Wednesday May 2, 2012 at Yadkin Nursing Center. She was born October 31, 1918 in Yadkin County to the late Alfred & Ella May Pinnix Shore. She was preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband; 2nd Husband George Garvey Gregory; one sister Eulalah Shore Swaim; three brothers Garvey, Grandville, and Fletcher Shore; one grandson Bobby Runyan. Surviving are her daughter Lillie (Allen) Lyon; a son Tony (Ethylene) Watson; two step daughters Revenna DeLeonardo and Diane DeLeonardo; three grandchildren JoElla Coon, Tammy VanHoy, Tracy Holloway; four step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren Josh Somers, Cody Rogers, Zachary Greene, Eden Holloway, and Danielle Holloway; five step great grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild Payton Greene; two sisters Mary Shore (Hurley) Johnson, Magdlene Shore Wall. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Pm Friday May 4, 2012 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday May 5, 2012 at Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. James Holbrook and Rev. Randy Johnson. Burial will follow at Asbury United Methodist Church.
