William Farrel Warden

Yadkinville Mr. William "Farrel" Warden, 63, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Warden was born April 16, 1949 in Forsyth County to Foy and Martha Mickles Warden. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and retired from R.J. Reynolds. Mr. Warden was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karen Jones Warden; a daughter, Cindy (Tim) Medcalf; a sister, Crystal (Robin) Cox; two grandchildren, Joshua and Lindsey Medcalf; and one great grandchild, Carter Phillips. A celebration of life for Mr. Warden will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the Days Inn Banquet Room in Yadkinville. Online condolences may be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
