Faircloth East Bend- Mr. Robert Jacob Faircloth, 51, of Forbush Road passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at his home. He was born January 17, 1961 in Forsyth County to Bobby L. and Gail C. Faircloth. Mr. Faircloth had been working at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company since 1981. He was a member of Baltimore United Methodist Church, enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at the beach, which he called "his house", and cooking for his family and many friends. He was a strong man, devoted father, son, uncle, and husband. He loved and cherished his wife of 28 years, Terri Hutchens Faircloth, who survives of the home, his daughter, Emily Faircloth Matthews and husband, Kirk, East Bend, and his son, Chadwick Robert Faircloth and Ciera Cockerham, of the home. Also surviving are his parents, Bobby L. and Gail C. Faircloth, East Bend; Sister, Renee F. (Alan) Hunter, East Bend; brother, Ricky L. (Beth) Faircloth, East Bend; 3 special in-laws, Rick & Lynn Hutchens, Sandra & Mark Todd, Gary Hutchens, mother-in-law, Frankie C. Hutchens; and several nieces, nephews, and many loving friends including "The Weekend Warriors". The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Edwin Needham and Rev. Jeff Farmer.
