Ruth Shore Styers

Yadkinville Mrs. Ruth Shore Styers, 85, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Styers was born December 1, 1926 in Yadkin County to William and Fannie Spillman Shore. She was an excellent seamstress and loved working in her flowers. Mrs. Styers was a member of Pilot View Friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Styers was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Styers. She is survived by three children, Lisa (Danny) Steelman, Debbie Wiles & fiancé Brett Williams, and Janet (Barry) Crissman; three grandchildren, Danielle Steelman, Tyler Steelman, and Cody Crissman; and a sister, Doris Bolin. A funeral service was conducted Monday, May 21, 2012 at 6:00 PM at Pilot View Friends Cemetery with Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger officiating. Mama/Nanny was dearly loved and will be truly missed.
