Maxine Shore Davis

Davis Hamptonville - Maxine Shore Davis, 80, passed away June 4, 2012 at Woltz Hospice Home. She was born July 31, 1931 in Yadkin County to the late Harold Reuben and Mary Money Shore. Maxine always enjoyed going to the beach and also making ceramics dolls. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Willis Davis; brother, Harold Shore. Surviving are her sons, Chris Davis and Johnny Davis; sister, Rassie Hunter; brother, James (Sherill) Shore; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Longtown Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Don Sigmon and the Rev. Denis Bell. Burial will follow at Longtown Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Longtown Pentecostal Holiness Church.
