Cora Davis Cranfill

Boonville Ms. Cora Bell Davis Cranfill, 79, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at her home. Ms. Cranfill was born April 30, 1933 in Yadkin County to Graham and Vallie Pardue Davis. She attended Fall Creek Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. In addition to her parents, Ms. Cranfill was preceded in death by a daughter, Tena Sue Cranfill; five sisters; and one brother. She is survived by four children, David (Brenda) Cranfill, Ricky (Margaret) Cranfill, Gary (Debbie) Cranfill, and Regina (Billy) Renegar; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one sister, Novella (Kenneth) Moore; and two brothers, Jimmy "Bill" (Deloris) Davis and Brady (Betty) Davis. A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Gentry Family Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Don Hudson and Rev. Will Hamric officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Hill Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service.
