Talley Hamptonville- Mr. Ralph Lee "Tence" Talley, 79, of US Highway 21, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ peacefully on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at his home, after a long illness. He was born April 8, 1933 in Yadkin County to the late Charles Miles Talley, Sr., and Minnie Bell Talley. Mr. Talley was a member of West Yadkin Baptist Church. He worked through the years as a farmer, a plumber with Talley Brothers Plumbing, and shared many wonderful memories and sites traveling 38 years with various Flea Markets. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Durham, and a brother, Charles Miles Talley, Jr. Surviving are his devoted wife of 55 years, Beulah Wagoner Talley, of the home; several special nieces and nephews, his special companion, BoBo, and a dear lifetime friend, Ralph Neal. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Friday at West Yadkin Baptist Church by Rev. Justin Crouse and Rev. Burt Mathis. Mr. Talley will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to either West Yadkin Baptist Church, US Highway 21, Hamptonville, NC 27020 or to Mountain Valley Hospice PO Box 1267, Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all the staff at Mountain Valley Hospice, especially to Margie Willard, Melanie Renegar, Sarah Hepner, Hal Finney, Sharon Ratcliff, Tom Ratcliff, and a special thank you to Wake Forest Baptist Cancer Center staff, including, Dr. Antonius Miller and Dr. Dee Cottrell.
