J Roy Toby Whitaker

J Roy Toby Whitaker, 74, passed away Monday July 2, 2012 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Whitaker was born October 7, 1937 in Yadkin County to the late Walter Bryum & Lelah Ladd Whitaker. He was retired from Bassett Furniture Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sister and three brothers. Surviving are two brothers Sam (Janet) Whitaker, Jerry (Gail) Whitaker; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Thursday July 5, 2012 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 AM Thursday July 5, 2012 at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery by Rev. Bob Edwards. Online condolences may be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
