Frances McCoin Stanley

Boonville Ecc. 3:1-8, In the season of our Lord, our loving mother Frances McCoin Stanley left this world to be with her Heavenly Father. She was the 8th daughter born to Jessie and Lena Adams McCoin, on August 31, 1934. She was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer Aire (RE) Stanley. Survivors include six children, Randy (Shirley) Stanley, Sherry (Alan) Anglin, Steve (Tammy) Stanley, Annette (Rev. Joey) Burton, Penny "Fuzz" (Michael) Benton, and Belvia (Mike) Shore; granddaughters, Heather (Shannon) Tedder, Amanda (Shane) Blackburn, Aranda (Chris) Whicker, Mishon Shore (Landon Ingram), Nicole (Timothy) Hazelwood, Brittany Burton (James Cox), and Ashley Anglin; five great grandchildren, Bailey and Shaw Tedder, Liam Hazelwood, Baby Camden Whicker, and awaiting the adoption of Baby Blackburn; and a sister, Jane (Bill) Myers. Mrs. Stanley was a member of Anchored in Jesus Baptist Church. Her favorite hobby was knitting and quilting, which she loved. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 2:00PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Larry Stone, Rev. Joey Burton, and Rev. Jimmy Pardue officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd Dobson, NC 27017. The family wishes to thank her special caregivers, Frankie Butcher and Kathryn Benge, her many healthcare providers in Forsyth County, Yadkin Valley Home Health, Surry Friends of Seniors, Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital ICU 3rd Floor nursing staff, and the staff of Elkin Healthcare, which she made her home for 3 ½ months.
