Harold Lee Cleary

Mr. Harold Lee Cleary, 64, passed away Thursday July 19, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Cleary was born August 15, 1947 in Surry County to Ander and Mildred Andrews Cleary. He was a member of Elkin Valley Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cleary was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Gambill Cleary; two granddaughters, Amelia MaryLee Cleary and Ava Sue Cleary; and one brother, Franklin Cleary. He is survived by two children, Frankie (Beth) Cleary and Jennie (Darius) Wilkins; two step children, Greg (Sherry) Johnson and Melissa (Michael) Lynch; one granddaughter, Nikki Lee Cleary; step-grandchildren Alexia, Denim, Wednesday, Joshua, D.J., and Nick; step-great-grandchild Adalyn; and two sisters, Wanda (Charlie) Baity and Patricia (O'Dean) Bryant. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday July 22, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Elkin Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elkin Valley Baptist Church, C/O Bob Jones Sunday School Class, 118 N. Elkin Drive Elkin, NC 28621.
