Robert Lee White, Jr.

Yadkinville Mr. Robert Lee White, Jr., 68, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mr. White was born October 14, 1943 in Yadkin County to the late Robert Lee White Sr. and Zelma Hendrix Lashmit. Mr. White is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Thelma Jester White; a step-father, William Lashmit of Yadkinville; a half-sister, Diane (Richard) Vogler of Mocksville; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 3:00PM at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center and to Hospice of Davie County for their love, care, and support shown to them and Mr. White during this difficult time.
