Erma Windsor Prevette

Erma Windsor Prevette, 89, passed away Thursday July 26, 2012 at Hugh Chatham Nursing Center. Mrs. Prevette was born August 22, 1922 to the late Gurney Hugh & Attrie Renegar Windsor. Erma and her husband Harry were among the original founding members of West Yadkin Baptist Church. Mrs. Prevette retired from the Yadkin County school food service, West Yadkin Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry Prevette; and a sister, Sarah Windsor Allen. Surviving are her two sons Kevin (Annette) Prevette, Kyle (Cynthia) Prevette; grandchildren Dillon Prevette, Emylee Prevette, Austin Prevette; and two special friends Mack & Mary Lou Smith. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday July 28, 2012 at West Yadkin Baptist Church Cemetery by Chaplain Stewart Roten. The family would like to extend very special thanks to the staff of Hugh Chatham Nursing Center and Mountain Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Prevette.
