Mary Long Bryant

Bryant Hamptonville - Mary Louise Long Bryant, 84, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 25, 1928 in Yadkin County to the late Robert Lee Long and Susan Trivette Money. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Abram Bryant. Surviving are her children, Jane Turner, Robert Bryant, and Sue (Keith) Luffman; grandchildren, Jeanette (Marty Adams) Turner, Amy (Allen) Brooks, Susan Luffman; great grandchildren, Weldon Campbell and Cheyenne Brooks; sister, Frances Stokes; sisters-in-law, Betty Branon, Kate Hutchens, and Lois Hutchens; special friend, Lena Byrd. Her funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Longtown United Methodist Church by the Rev. Laura Beach. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
