Ralph Conard Cook

- Ralph Conard Cook, 83, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Woltz Hospice Home. He was born July 2, 1929 in Yadkin County to the late Jim Cook and Rose Vanhoy Cook. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lizzie Arnold Cook; son, Roger Dale Cook; several brothers and sisters. Surviving are his sons, Eddie (Kay) Cook, David Cook, Tommy (Beth) Cook, Rodney (Heather) Cook; daughters, Elizabeth (Gary) Jenkins, Connie (Aubrey) Casstevens; sister, Jessie (Howard) Hemric; brother, Jack (Delilah) Cook; several grandchildren, great children, great great children, nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012 at East Elkin Full Gospel by the Rev. Jerry Childress and the Rev. Ralph Casstevens. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville.
