Sabrina Brooks King

Hamptonville Mrs. Sabrina Janette Brooks King, 35, passed away Friday, August 24, 2012. Mrs. King was born February 6, 1977 in Surry County to Phil Brooks and Mary Thomas Bates. She was a member of State Road Assembly of God. Mrs. King was preceded in death by an uncle, William Thomas. She is survived by her husband, Dexter King; her loving mother, Mary Bates; her father, Phil (Cheryl) Brooks; two sisters, Raina Brooks and Annalisa Brooks; one brother, Brett Brooks; a grandmother, Janette Brooks; five aunts, Ann Bauguess, Irene (Hayden) Billings, Nancy Key, Faye (Gary) Norman, Betty (O'Neal) Carter; three uncles, Ben Brooks, Lawrence Brooks, and Larry Brooks; and a special friend, Leon Triplett. A visitation will be held Monday, August 27, 2012 from 1:00 to 2:00PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. A graveside service will follow at 2:30PM at Mtn. View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for all the love and care shown to Mrs. King during her illness.
