East Bend - James Hobson Williams, 14, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1997 in Forsyth County to Ted Jason Williams and Tina Brown Williams. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James F. Williams and Max Hobson Brown. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Katlen Jean Williams; grandmothers, Nannie Sue Williams and Shelba D. Brown; Uncles and Aunts, Frank Williams (Donna), Joe Williams (Stacy), Terry Brown, Tammy Brown Stanley (Bucky); Cousins, Landon Williams, Morgan Williams, Bailey Williams, Kendra B. Widner, Marcy Mays, Brita Stanley. His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Union Cross Friends Meeting by the Rev. Archie Creed and the Rev. Chris Hauser. He will lie in-state from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Union Cross Friends Meeting. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Union Cross Friends Meeting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to thank all the personnel on the 6th floor of the PICU at Brenner's Children's Hospital. We would especially like to thank Dr. Greg Ross, Dr. Steve Mou, Dr. Tom Pranikoff, Dr. Dan Couture and Nurses Alysha Piper, Matthew Rowell, Amanda Smith, Julie Kerth, and Respiratory Therapist Megan Hartmon. We appreciate the kindness and tender care that you gave to James. We will never forget you!
