Darell Scott Baity

Yadkinville Mr. Darell Scott Baity, 43, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 17, 2012 after a short illness. Mr. Baity was born January 3, 1969 in Yadkin County to Charles and Thelma Hutchens Baity. He was a 1987 graduate of Forbush High School. He was also a longtime member of Turner's Creek Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school and drove the church van for many years. His loving personality and caring nature will be missed by all. Mr. Baity had many friends through his employment at Hardee's in Yadkinville, where he was employed for 25 years. Mr. Baity was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewey and Sarah Baity and Ray and Blanche Hutchens. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Mark A. Baity and Charles Dewey Baity, Jr., both of Winston Salem. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11:00AM at Turner's Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Welch, Rev. Alan Barker, and Rev. David Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Turner's Creek Baptist Church Mission Fund.
