Patricia Cockerham Johnson

Ronda Ms. Patricia Ann Cockerham Johnson, 55, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Ms. Johnson was born June 5, 1957 in Surry County to A. Dennis and Peggy Reavis Cockerham. In addition to her mother, Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Sue Cockerham and a brother, Timothy Cockerham. She is survived by her father, Aaron Dennis Cockerham Sr. (Marie Kerley); a daughter Stephanie (Neal) Gragg; two sons, Joshua W. Johnson and Jonathan W. Johnson; seven grandchildren, Hannah Johnson, Katelin and Trenton Ryan, Dustin and Raegan Gragg, Alexis and Trace Johnson; fiancée, Rick Long; a brother, Denny (Linda) Cockerham; two nephews, Dennis Scott Cockerham and Kevin Shane Cockerham; a great niece and a great nephew. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 3:00PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Keith Wagoner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family wishes to thank the Cardiac ICU 2 staff and the nursing and respiratory staff of Forsyth Medical Center for all the care given to Ms. Johnson during this difficult time and to the staff of Foothills Country Ham for all the prayers for Ms. Johnson.
