Charles Edwin Stewart, Jr.

Stewart Yadkinville - Charles Edwin Stewart, Jr., 65, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born September 17, 1947 in Orange County, NY to the late Charles, Sr. and Elizabeth Stewart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Amy Ann Stewart. Surviving are his wife, Ethel Hutchens Stewart; children, Danielle Stewart, Christopher (Amanda) Stewart; grandchildren, Breanna Stewart, Eyra Stewart; sister, Barbara (Clarence) Jellema of Mesa, AZ. A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 at Longtown United Methodist Church by the Rev. Laura Beach, the Rev. Heather Kilborne, and the Rev. Paul Stewart. The family will receive friends after the service Monday at Longtown United Methodist Church. A private burial will be done at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Longtown United Methodist Church Mission, PO Box 5, Hamptonville, NC 27020. Charlie's last wishes were that his friends and family would seek salvation through Jesus Christ our Savior. Gentry Family Funeral Service is serving the Stewart family.
