East Bend Mrs. Tina Faye Davis Brown, 91, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Brown was born May 23, 1921 in Yadkin County to Jesse and Wilda Lineberry Davis. She was a member of Forbush Friends Meeting, where she was the oldest living member, and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. Mrs. Brown was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Fred Brown; and six brothers and sisters, Blanche Carter, Lewis Davis, Sadie Wooten, Roxie Hobson, her twin sister Annie Maye Jarvis, and Pearl Carter. She is survived by two sons, Billie Dale Brown and friend Carolyn, and "Charlie" Leon (Sue) Brown; three grandchildren, Darren (Tasha) Brown, Sherry B. (Steve) Allen, and Cameron Brown; six great grandchildren, Makenzie Brown, Trevor, Dalton, and Nathan Nance, and Dakota and Lacey Brown; two step great granddaughters, Stephanie and Sarah Allen; and three sisters, Edith Carter, Laura Ruth (Paige) Wall, and Jessie Raye (Jimmie) Smitherman. A celebration of life will be conducted Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11:00AM at Forbush Friends Meeting with Rev. Andy Lambert and Rev. Jake Penley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
