Jeffrey Haynes Cheek

Jeffrey Haynes Cheek, 51, passed away Thursday November 29, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He was born June 25, 1961 in Surry County to Kenneth Gerald & Peggy Ann Haynes Cheek. He is preceded in death by his mother Peggy Ann Haynes Cheek. Surviving are his father Kenneth Gerald Cheek; a daughter Shanda (Brian) Kaplan; two grandchildren Mackenzie Kaplan and Taylor Kaplan; two sisters Cynthia (Lynn) Somers, Wendy Cheek. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday December 1, 2012 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by Rev. Larry Lefler. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Cheek family.
