Helen Dockery Driver

Boonville Mrs. Helen Marie Dockery Driver, 74, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Driver was born January 24, 1938 to Oliver and Stella White Dockery. She attended Fall Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Driver was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie "Junior" Driver; a son, Tony Driver; a brother, Jackie Lee Dockery; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Albert and Peggy Driver, Robert and Katie Holyfield, and Junior and Dorothy Weldy. She is survived by a daughter, Robin Carey; a granddaughter, Hope Curry; a sister, Alice Sue (James) Reece; a brother, Oliver Buddy Dockery; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Henry and Margaret Driver, Claude and Gloria Driver, Inez and Ted Tilley, Lorene Murphy, and David and Vicky Taylor; and special friends, Hillary Shore and Kyler and Kayden Jessup. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11:00AM at Gentry Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Don Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Rock of Ages Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home or Fall Creek Baptist Church Building Fund. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Woltz Hospice Home, Libby Wagoner, and Lenior Vestal for all the love, care, and support shown to them during this difficult time.
