Leon Jack Hall

Hall Yadkinville - Leon Jack Hall, 88, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born June 19, 1924 in Surry County to the late Governor Vance Hall and Molly Mae Marsh Hall. He was a faithful member at Deep Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Lou Stanley Hall; brothers, Glenn Hall, Clarence Hall, Warren Hall. Surviving are his children, Elizabeth Jane (J.D.) Hutchens, Tim Lee (Robin) Hall, Graylon Terry (Susan) Hall, Roger Dale (Glenda) Hall Michael Wayne (Karen) Hall; sisters, Lorraine Pardue, Lois Hess, Betty Lou Templeton, Shirley Short; brothers, Hobert Hall, Garlon (Nellie) Hall; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other family members. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Deep Creek Baptist by the Rev. Rick Page. Burial will follow in church cemetery with full military Honors by the Yadkin VFW Post 10346. He will lie in-state one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
