Lon Claude Weisner

Yadkinville Lon Claude "L.C." Weisner, 61, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at his home. Mr. Weisner was born September 2, 1951 in Iredell County to the late Ray and Polly Johnson Weisner. He was a member of South Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Weisner loved hunting and fishing, and being outdoors, but most of all, he loved his grandchildren. Mr. Weisner is survived by his wife, Jane Howard Weisner; two sons, Shawn Weisner and Jeffrey (Ida) Weisner; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Jensyn Weisner; two sisters, Judy (Wayne) Johnson and Raylene Bullard; two brothers, Butch (Vickie) Weisner and David (Irene) Weisner; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 3:00PM at South Oak Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Hauser officiating. The family will receive friends one hour following the service. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Weisner family.
