Janet Baity Reavis

Janet Delores Baity Reavis, 69, passed away Friday January 4, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born October 14, 1943 to John Henry & Flora Dalton Baity. She was a member of Courtney Baptist Church where she served as Sunday school teacher for several years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Reavis, and her daughter Crystal Reavis. Surviving are her son Matthew Reavis (Fiancée Gail Collins); granddaughter Shania Reavis; a sister Lillian (Verlin) Morris; two brothers Tommy (Charlotte) Baity, Kenneth (Linda) Baity; a brother-in-law Merrill Reavis. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday January 7, 2013 at Gentry family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday January 8, 2013 at Courtney Baptist Church by Rev. John Brown. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the first responders and EMS who responded to the call of Mrs. Reavis.
