Anna Mae Hobson Jester

Jester Boonville - Anna Mae Hobson Jester, 94, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. She was born October 30, 1918 in Yadkin County to the late Early Hampton Hobson and Pearl Choplin Hobson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin "Clint" Jester; sister, Kate Jester; brother, Leo Hobson; grandson-in-law, James Dinkins. Surviving are her daughter, Donna (Wayne) Hicks; granddaughter, Scarlet Dinkins; great grandson, Jordan Dinkins; sister, Shelba Jean (Houston) Frye; brother, Franklin (Maverine) Hobson. Her funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at Union Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Kenny Gooden. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service Monday at Union Grove Baptist Church. Gentry Family Funeral service in Yadkinville is serving the Jester family.
