Jerry Wayne Holcomb

Jonesville Mr. Jerry Wayne Holcomb, Sr., 63, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013. Mr. Holcomb was born November 27, 1949 in Yadkin County to Raymond and Margie Tilley Holcomb. He was a wonderful family man whose hobbies were fishing, going to the beach, watching wrestling and racing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Holcomb was preceded in death by two sisters, Miranda Triplett and Kathy Winters; and a brother, Raymond Holcomb, Jr. He is survived by four children, Jerry "Chuck" (Donna) Holcomb, Jr., Marissa Collins, Michelle Holcomb, and Pamela Bowman; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one sister, Alma Jean (Junior) Minton; two brothers, Bonson (Marie) Holcomb and Jimmy Holcomb; fiancé, Brenda "Jan" Minton; a brother-in-law, Leon Triplett; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 11:00AM at Beulahland Non-Denominational Church cemetery with Rev. Ralph Casstevens officiating. The family will receive from 9:30 to 10:30AM at Gentry Funeral Service in Jonesville.
