Kenneth Marvin Hayes

East Bend Kenneth Marvin Hayes, 72, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013. Mr. Hayes was born March 18, 1940 in Yadkin County to Lee and Eva Willard Hayes. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Hayes. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Lou Stanley Hayes; three sons, Michael Hayes, Marvin Hayes, and Johnny (Tonja) Hayes; grandchildren, Timothy, Brandy, William, and Jason Hayes, Michelle Boyd, Chris Hayes, and honorary grandson Chris Boyd; eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Franklin Hayes; and one half-sister, Melanie. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 3:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Robert Childress officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
