Margaret Elizabeth Southard Lauer

Lauer East Bend- Margaret Elizabeth Southard Lauer, 66, passed away Monday January 28, 2013 at Yadkin Valley Community Hospital. Mrs. Lauer was born August 29, 1946 in Surry County to the late Clarence Conway and Dora Vanhoy Southard. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Harvey Southard. She is survived by her husband Harry G. Lauer; step children Donna Lauer (J.R.) Wishon, Michael J. (Donna) Lauer, Harry G. Lauer, Jr., Scott E. (Lisa) Lauer; Special grandchild Brittany Marie Hardy (Todd Shore); eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister Louise (Burton "B.L.") Trivette; one brother Harold (Ethel) Southard. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Thursday January 31, 2013 at South Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Her funeral will follow the visitation at the church by Dr. Phil Beavers and Rev.
