Laura Leigh Sizemore Watson, 78, passed away Tuesday January 29, 2013 at Willowbrook Health Care Center. Mrs. Watson was born September 18, 1934 in Yadkin County to the late Melvin James & Hessie Collins Sizemore. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Tommy Sizemore; a grandson Tony White; a great-great granddaughter Kaylee White. Surviving are her husband James Alford Watson; three daughters Teresa Ann Brooks, Brenda Leigh Widener, Donna Sue Norman; grandchildren David White, Steven White, Ashley Brooks, Shannon Widener, Brent Brown; three great-grandchildren; one sister Mae Shore; two brothers Billy Sizemore and Jimmy Sizemore. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:30 PM Thursday January 31, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted following the visitation in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. J.P. Sizemore and Rev. Bobby Norman. Burial will follow at Center United Methodist Church cemetery.
