Steven Craig Brown

Mr. Steven Craig Brown, 40, of Westleigh Drive, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013. He was born August 17, 1972 in Forsyth County to Charles Brown and Margaret S. Brown. Mr. Brown was a professional artist, worked in carpentry, and enjoyed going hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He loved watching Tarheel Basketball and NASCAR, especially his favorit driver, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Brown and by his grandparents, Alice and Roby Fulk, Helen and Orville Brown. Surviving are his loving mother and step-father, Margaret S. and Donald Brown, East Bend; brothers, Michael (Michelle) Brown, Sparta; Randy (Portia) Brown, Yadkinville; his special friend, Wendi Boyles and her daughter, Kaylin Boyles, Lewisville; 2 step-sisters, Catherine (Hoke) Matthews, Donna (Andy) Whitman; 2 step-brothers, Grant (Cindy) Brown, William (Rhonda) Bown; 2 nieces, Brittany Brown, Lindsey Huttar; a nephew, Jared Brown; and several great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friends, Kendall Hutchens and Shannon Jester. His funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, February 3, 2013, in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Archie Creed. Burial will follow in East Bend Friends Cemetery.
