Elizabeth Smith Hutchens

Hutchens Yadkinville - Elizabeth Ann Smith Hutchens, 81, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013. She was born September 10, 1931 in Davie County to the late Clarence Moses Smith and Annie Elizabeth Cope Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Dale Hutchens; grandson, Benjamin Hutchens; brothers, Alfred, Virgil, Vernon, Wade. CM, and Kenneth Smith. Surviving are her children, Sandra (William) Martin, Beth Hamel; grandchildren, Daniel Hamel, Jeremy Hamel, Melissa Hamel, Sammy Dale (Ashley) Hutchens; great grandchildren, Lanie Marie Hutchens, Matthew Gray Hutchens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her graveside service will follow at Solid Rock Baptist Cemetery on Wednesday at 2:30 by the Rev. Bill Hale. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Hutchens family.
