Alvin J Caudle

Boonville Mr. Miles Alvin Jesse Caudle, 91, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at his home. Mr. Caudle was born May 30, 1921 in Yadkin County to Elem "Tobe" and Rachel Nelson Caudle. He was a member of Mount Nebo Church of Christ where he served as an Elder. Mr. Caudle worked as a carpenter and farmed for many years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and attended church as long as he was able. In addition to his parents, Mr. Caudle was preceded in death by a grandson, Ricky Caudle and a sister, Eulala Steelman. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Allene Jester Caudle; two sons, Allen (Linda) Caudle and J.D. Caudle; two daughters, Linda (Allen) Willard and Mariena (Jon) Carroll; ten grandchildren, Tim Caudle and friend Paula, Terry (Tani) Caudle, Tonya (Aaron) Livengood, Tammy (Terry) Chipman, Tina (Jerry) Wishon, Travis (Monica) Caudle, Andy (Cristy) Caudle, Randy (Angela) Caudle, Ashley Carroll and Alicia Carroll; eight great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, C.A. Jester; four nieces; one nephew; and special friends, Bill Stanley, Ray Parker, and Calvin Dudley. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 8, 2013 at 11:00AM at Gentry Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville with Brother Steve Johnson, Brother Lawrence Warden, and Brother Steve McCollum officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Nebo Church of Christ cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service.
