January 22, 1935 — February 6, 2013

Linville Boonville - Frankie Jester Wright Linville, 78, left this world for a heavenly home on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. She was born January 22, 1935 in Yadkin County to the late Ervin and Ila Jester, one of six children. Frankie never met a stranger and shared her testimony with everyone she met. She was a lifetime member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving for many years. She graduated from Boonville High School in 1954 and worked for Hanes Hosiery for many years but her greatest work in this life was raising her three children. She was married to Neal Wright, with whom she had two daughters, Deborah and Daphne. After his death, she worked hard to raise her daughters as a single mother. In 1966 she was married to Glenn Linville, with whom she had a son, Scotty. Her children and grandchildren knew her as a loving disciplinarian who shared her love for all growing things. She spent many hours in her yard, garden and with neighbors. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Glenn Linville; son, Scotty (Sherry) Linville of Wyo; two daughters, Daphne Thomas (Jeff) Phillips of Boonville, Debbie (Kelly) Speer of East Bend; her most cherished brother and friend, Charles (Barbara) Jester of East Bend. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, Nikki Speer-Raleigh, Dustie Hunter, Kristin Love, Rebecca Durham, Morgan and Joshua Galle, and Brandy Reeves. Additional blessings include her great granddaughters, Sidney Hunter, Riley and Abigail Durham, and a new life to be in March, baby Raleigh; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Eddy Driver. Burial will follow at Richmond Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family would like to offer special thanks to the nurses of FMC who cared for her and most especially to the staff of Woltz Hospice Home of Dobson, who were awesome in the care and love for the family. Flowers will be accepted and memorials can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 1267, Yadkinville, NC 27055. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Linville family.
