Minnie Southard Ball

Ball Yadkinville - Minnie Lou Southard Ball, 93, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013. She was born July 31, 1919 in Surry County to the late Tom and Tisha Southard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Edward Ball; four sisters; one brother. Surviving are her children, Shirley Mae Jones; Walden (Brenda) Ball; grandchildren, Tony (Sheila) Ball, Sharon (Terry) Bracken, Eddie (Brenda) Lambert, Kenneth (Cricket) Lambert, Danny Lambert, Michelle (Mike) Gray; several great grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Longtown Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Tony Goins and the Rev. Don Sigmon. Burial will follow at Longtown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, one hour prior to the service at Longtown Pentecostal Holiness Church.
