Vicky Davis Carter

Yadkinville Mrs. Vicky Jean Davis Carter, 58, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mrs. Carter was born March 26, 1954 in Forsyth County to Gene and Laura Matthews Davis. She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carter is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Michael Keith Carter; a son, Cory Carter; a granddaughter, Hannah Todd; and a sister, Fonda (Dennis) Sandwick. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 3:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Joe Souther officiating. Burial will follow at Forbush Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103. The family wishes to thank all the friends and family for the love, care, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time.
