Robert Glenn Ratledge

Ratledge Yadkinville - Robert Glenn Ratledge, 74, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 23, 1939 in Forsyth County to Paul Glenn and Elizabeth Brendle Ratledge. Mr. Ratledge retired from First Union National Bank. He was a member of Stony Knoll United Methodist Church in East Bend, NC. He graduated from Yadkinville High School in 1958. He was preceded in death in death by his parents and one brother, James R. (Pete) Ratledge. He is survived by his wife, Bettie Cornelius Ratledge, Whom he married on November 1, 1969. He is also survived by two brothers, John Lee Ratledge (Myrtle) and Jerry F. Ratledge (Dottie), and one sister Betty R. Saylor (Francis), one sister-in-law, Dorothy Ratledge. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Stony Knoll United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, April 1, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
