Ira Lee Fie

East Bend Mr. Ira Lee Fie, 78, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Mr. Fie was born October 15, 1934 in Haywood County to Frank and Elizabeth Forrester Fie. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fie was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Stacy Poindexter Fie; a special niece, Carolyn (Carl) Bowen; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2:00PM at Yadkinville Church of God with Rev. Timothy R. Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Yadkinville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Fie family.
