Wanda Gail Lawson

Lawson Yadkinville- Ms Wanda Gail Lawson, 58, of Oakwood Drive passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at Yadkin Valley Community Hospital. She was born March 11, 1955 in Yadkin County to the late Escar Claven and Ruth Childress Lawson. Ms Lawson worked for several years with Phillips-Van Heusen in Jonesville and was of the Methodist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by an infant son, Jessie Lafae Harris. Surviving are her sisters, Regina (Gary) Martin, Teresa Caputo, a brother, Jim (Faye) Lawson, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Stoney Knoll United Methodist Church, Stoney Knoll road, in the Rockford Community, by Rev. Bob Edwards. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 4701 Hedgemore Dr Ste 810, Charlotte, NC 28209-2280. The family would like to express their gratitude to all the co-workers at Phillips-Van Heusen and to her aide, Nancy, for all the love and support given to Ms Lawson.
