Lillian Baity Morris

Yadkinville Mrs. Lillian Baity Morris, 76, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Willowbrook Nursing Center. Mrs. Morris was born June 28, 1936 in Yadkin County to John Henry and Flora Dalton Baity. She was a member of Courtney Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Reavis. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Verlin Morris; two sons, Randy (Beth) Morris and Mark (Kathy) Morris; five grandchildren, Natalie (Leslie) Sizemore, William (Jesica) Morris, Josh (Kristen) Morris, Chrystian (Sheryl Ann) Morris, and Kelley Morris; nine great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Chloe, Zachary, Daniel, Preston, Logan, Kaleb, Destiny, and Lydia; two brothers, Tommy (Charlotte) Baity and Kenneth (Linda) Baity; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, April 19, 2013 at 2:00PM at Courtney Baptist Church with Rev. John Brown, Rev. Ricky Atkins, and Rev. Ray Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Courtney Baptist Church, 3341 Courtney Church Rd Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Mtn. Valley Hospice and Willowbrook Nursing Center for all the love, care, and support shown during this difficult time.
