Shirley Faye Messick

Evangelist Shirley Faye Messick, 77, passed away Wednesday April 17, 2013 at Wilkes Senior Village. Ms. Messick was born May 10, 1935 in Yadkin County to the late Glattus William & Nellie Reinhardt Messick. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Ruby McClaimrock, two brothers Wayne Messick and Harold "Jack" Messick. Surviving are a sister Helen Watson; two brothers Albert (Virginia) Messick, Larry (Peggy) Messick; special niece Linda (Kenneth) Couch; several other special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Pm Friday April 19, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday April 20, 2013 at Longtown Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Mike Harp and Rev. Tim Goins. Burial will follow at Longtown Cemetery.
