Watson Yadkinville- Mr. James Alfred "Bud" Watson, 77, of Fleming Road passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born August 11, 1935 in Yadkin County to the late James Howard and Mary Lucille Neal Watson. Mr. Watson worked for several years with Browns Machine Shop and was a farmer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Laura S. Watson on January 29, 2013; a grandson, Tony White; granddaughter, Kaylee White; and a sister, Mildred Sizemore. Surviving are his loving daughters, Teresa Ann Brooks, Brenda Leigh Widener, Donna Sue Norman; grandchildren, David White, Steven White, Ashley Brooks, Shannon Widener, Brent Brown; and a sister, Lois Beulin. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:30 PM Saturday April 20. 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:30 PM Saturday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. J.P. Sizemore. Burial will follow in the Center Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit of Baptist Medical Center and Mountain Valley Hospice, for all the loving care and support given during Mr. Watsons declining health.
