Walter Gray Hutchens

Walter gray Hutchens, 82, passed away Wednesday April 17, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Hutchens was born July 11, 1930 in Yadkin Coutny to the late Robert "Bob" & Sofronia Hutchens. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Rebecca Goad Hutchens, a daughter Brenda Kay, a son Bobby Gray Hutchens, and several sisters and brothers. Surviving are his children Ann Crowe (David) Webb, Patricia Jean (Ricky) Hutchens, Gail (Les) Pinnix, Melinda Hutchens (Dean Hunter), Wilson Hutchens; two sisters Mary Ruth Adams, Dorothy Williams; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:00 Pm Friday April 19, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church by Rev. Bill Hale. His funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday April 19, 2013 after the visitation. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
