Bessie Mayberry Campbell

Campbell Yadkinville - Bessie Mayberry Campbell, 102, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013. She was born January 16, 1911 in Alexander County to the late Cicero Columbus Mayberry and Molly Elizabeth Deal Mayberry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Wade Campbell; brothers, Pinkney Mayberry, Ralph Mayberry, Virgil Mayberry, Lloyd Mayberry, and William (Bill) Mayberry; sisters, Maude Barnes and Patie Payne; granddaughter, Pamela Joy Reavis. Surviving are her children, Bill (Judy) Campbell, Coleen Sizemore and Loretta "Jane" Parker; grandchildren, Wayne (Bonnie) Sizemore, Kathy (Lanny) McCann, Mark (Judith) Sizemore, Lynn (Barbara) Reavis, Angela (Danny) Crouse, and Elizabeth (Robbie) Hawks; great grandchildren, Shannon (Stephanie) McCann, Hannah Hawks, Brandon DeWitt, Jeremy DeWitt, Teresa Logan, Hunter Reavis, Chris Reavis, Tina Acree, Kadee Sizemore, Jacob Sizemore; great great grandchildren, Tyler Reavis, Blake Reavis, Gavin DeWitt, Madison McCann, Maci McCann, Gabriella Scotto. Her funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church by the Rev. Bill Hale and Cliff Rhodes. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
