Milholand Hamptonville - Floyd Lester Milholand, Sr., 76, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his devoted wife of 56 years, Betty and his seven children on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. He was born April 29, 1936 in Davie County to the late Woodrow and Lucy Milholen. Floyd was retired from International Paper Company in Statesville. He was a member of Hanes Grove United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Betty Pardue Milholand; sons, Lester (Nancy) Milholand, Danny (Patty) Milholand, Stevie (Tracy) Milholand, Jimmy (Jennifer) Milholand, David (Amy) Milholand; daughters, Lisa (Steve) Webster, Sherry (Dale) Gibson; eleven grandchildren, Candy (Shane) Childress, Kim (Jeff) Holder, Ashley Garza, Daniel Milholand, Christina (Travis) Howell, Scott Milholand, Tiffany (Matthew) Warren, Josh Webster, Ryan Milholand, Alesha Milholand, Molly Gibson; seven great grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; sisters, Shelby Oliver, Eleanor (A.V.) Phillips. His funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Allen Barker. Burial will follow at Hanes Grove United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
