Leslie Allen Chamberlain

Chamberlain Yadkinville - Leslie Allen Chamberlain, Sr., 74, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013. He was born December 30, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late Allen Turner Chamberlain and Alpha Steelman Chamberlain. Leslie was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Shirley "Ann" Chamberlain; children, Andra Chamberlain, Gina Chamberlain, L. Allen (Tamara) Chamberlain, Jr.; grandchildren, Kimberly (Jared) Hoots, Gray Phillips, Steven Phillips, Jacob Chamberlain, Jadyn Chamberlain; sisters, Rosa Lee Chamberlain, Elizabeth (Charles) Misenheimer; brother, Lenuel (Sandy) Chamberlain; several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Maranatha Baptist Church by the Rev. Benny Adams, and Jared Hoots, who is the High School Pastor of Triad Baptist Church in Kernersville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
